Volunteering only a few hours a week can potentially help thousands of hurting people find the help they so desperately need. You have the power to help bring the amazing message of Jesus to every corner of the internet.
We’re looking for volunteers who are passionate about helping people who feel far from God connect with their heavenly father. They will see the internet as the next great mission field for the message of Jesus. Successful volunteers will have good computer skills and be open to learning new programs.
You can begin making a difference today by volunteering with Church Web Fund. We are looking for volunteers in a few main areas:
- Web based research
a. Researching potential donors
b. Various web research tasks - Doing donor phone work
a. Verifying contact information over the phone
b. Setting appointments with prospective donors - Administrative work
- Grant Writing
We’re looking for individuals interested in sharing the story of Church Web Fund with companies and individuals who have money to give through grants. As a grant writer you will have the opportunity to find money available through grants that can help save churches. Effective grant writers should have a good mix of internet research and writing skills.
Doing web based research
Volunteers will use their computer skills to help with various online research projects. These projects could include investigating potential donors or researching all kinds of information online.
Doing donor phone work
Volunteers with good people skills will contact and connect with potential donors or representatives of potential donors. The primary goal will be to verify information to help build an accurate database of potential donors. Those volunteering in this area will follow a clearly defined and easy-to-follow donor contact process.
Administrative work
There are always various administrative tasks that will need completed each week to move the mission forward. If you’re good with details and organization, consider giving one hour a week to help with various administrative tasks.
Grant Writing
If you are good at persuasive writing, we could use your help writing Grant requests to large Foundations.
